About SSRF Membership

The Social Science Researchers Foundation (SSRF) is a registered non-profit academic organization dedicated to promoting high-quality research, scholarly communication, capacity building, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the social sciences and allied fields.

SSRF Membership is designed to bring together researchers, academicians, faculty members, students, professionals, institutions, and policy practitioners who share a commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to sustainable social development through research and innovation.

SSRF Membership Benefits

A. Publications & Editorial Opportunities

  • Institutional Members may publish conference and seminar papers in the International Journal of Social Sciences and Research Frontiers (IJSSRF) at concessional rates, subject to editorial policies.
  • Members may be invited to serve as Editorial Board Members of SSRF journals, based on qualifications and expertise.
  • Members may have opportunities to serve as reviewers, advisory members, and resource persons, depending on qualifications and experience.

B. Academic Events & Collaboration

  • Institutional Members may be eligible for assistance to organize online/offline seminars, workshops, and academic events within their institutions, based on SSRF approval.
  • Institutional Members may receive collaboration or sponsorship support from SSRF for institutional events and programs, subject to availability and approval.
  • Fellow Members may be supported to host seminars at their affiliated institutions, subject to SSRF's discretion.
  • Institutional Members may enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SSRF to formalize academic collaboration.

C. Research Support & Resources

  • Institutional Members may gain access to SSRF's resources for academic, research, and developmental activities, as determined by SSRF.
  • Institutional Members may benefit from academic networking and collaborative research opportunities facilitated by SSRF.
  • Fellow Members may be considered for grant-in-aid support to undertake minor or major research projects, subject to the recommendation of an expert committee constituted by SSRF.

D. Recognition & Honors

  • Members may receive priority consideration for honors such as the Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Teacher Award, and Social Scientist Award, subject to SSRF's selection process.
  • Institutional Members may be part of a recognized national-level professional organization, enhancing institutional reputation.

Frequently Asked Questions

SSRF Membership brings together researchers, academicians, faculty, students, and institutions committed to advancing social science research. Members gain access to an academic network, publishing opportunities, research support, and professional recognition.

SSRF offers three membership categories: Life Membership for academicians and research scholars, Fellow Membership for PhD holders with at least 5 years of experience, and Institutional Membership for academic and research institutions.

SSRF Life Membership is a one-time fee of ₹1,000 and includes a certificate of recognition, lifelong access to the SSRF academic network, and collaboration opportunities.

SSRF Fellow Membership is a one-time fee of ₹2,000, open to academicians and scientists holding a PhD with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Fellows may be invited to serve on editorial boards and are considered for grant-in-aid research support.

Institutional Membership requires a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SSRF and a minimum of 10 faculty individual memberships from the applying institution.
